L’info n’a échappé à personne, nous sommes en pleine commémoration du 70 ème anniversaire du D-Day, qu’on appelle Jour J en français ou Dia D en espagnol, voilà ça se décline au gré des pays, vous pouvez me faire part de vos trouvailles du genre 🙂
Bon, je n’ai toujours pas la télé mais j’ai suivi l’info à la radio, oui, sans les images, et mes proches qui sont passés par la case maison ce week-end, m’ont bien relayé l’événement, avec émotion en plus, tiens donc.
J’ai surtout bien aimé le débat autour des repas servis à 19:00 puis à 21:00 au Chef d’état français F. Hollande, avec d’une part Mister Président B. Obama à ses côtés, et d’autre part avec Господин Президент V. Poutine au repas suivant.
Ça devait pas rigoler en cuisine où des chefs étoilés ont été mis à contribution pour faire honneur aux spécialités de la Normandie : on parlait d’une spécialité de macarons au camembert dans le menu 🙂
Ça ne rigolait pas non plus au niveau du service du protocole d’ailleurs, parce qu’il fallait aussi observer les desiderata des invitées et invités de marque…

Mais ce que j’ai entendu de plus drôle, c’est ce vétéran anglais de 89 ans, Bernard Jordan, qui, contre l’avis de la maison de retraite de Hove où il résidait, a librement profité d’une de ses sorties pour rejoindre… la Normandie !

Il a accroché ses insignes militaires sous son imperméable, et avec la complicité d’un de ses amis, sensiblement du même âge, ils ont pris la poudre d’escampette dans le silence le plus total…
S’étant inscrit trop tard pour participer à l’événement, la maison de retraite était de plus réticente à ce qu’il s’y rende, à cause de la fatigue engendrée par le voyage.
Et voilà que le Jour J, sans jamais en avoir reparlé, il est allé rejoindre ses camarades de combat pour l’événement célébré en France !
Ben moi je pense qu’ils ont du bien rigoler de leur audace les deux compères durant leur escapade 🙂
Mais son ami a quand même prévenu la direction de la maison de retraite, lorsque, constatant qu’il n’était pas rentré de sa promenade, elle a lancé un avis de recherche auprès de la police.
Une âme de résistant jusqu’au bout, mais aucune sanction n’aura été finalement retenue contre lui, et son retour sera assuré de façon plus officielle…
